Dear Potential Partner:
The summer of 2019, Mother Liberty started the Liberty Bell CDF Freedom School. This is a program centered around literacy for the children of Madison County and the city of Jackson, primarily. The program operates under the auspices of the Children Defense Fund (CDF).
What is a CDF Freedom School? I am glad you asked. CDF Freedom Schools© is a six-week summer reading program, developed by the Children Defense Fund in 1995, to help increase literacy, self-esteem, socio-emotional skills, and a love of learning in children in grades K-8.
